Under CERC regulations and most state SERCs, consumers with a contracted demand of 1 MW or above are eligible for open access. Some states have reduced this threshold. We assess eligibility based on your specific state, load profile, and DISCOM category — reach out for a free assessment.

Under our PPA model, Stake Energy develops, owns, and operates the solar or wind plant. You simply purchase the power at a fixed or indexed tariff — typically 15–35% below your current grid tariff — for a term of 15–25 years. Zero CAPEX is required from your side, and we handle all compliance, regulatory filings, and O&M.

A typical 5–20 MW ground-mounted EPC project takes 6–10 months from feasibility to commissioning, depending on land clearance, grid connectivity approval, and state-specific DISCOM timelines. We manage the entire regulatory and construction schedule on your behalf.

Most C&I clients see energy cost reductions of 20–45% depending on project structure. Rooftop solar with net metering typically saves 20–30%. Open access and captive arrangements typically deliver 30–45% savings, factoring in open access charges, wheeling, and cross-subsidy surcharge where applicable.
