Built to Accelerate India's Energy Transition

Stake Energy was founded with a singular focus: to make renewable energy accessible, reliable, and economically compelling for India's commercial and industrial sector. With India poised to lead the global clean energy transition, we saw an urgent need for a company that could deliver on both sides of the equation — as a high-quality EPC contractor and as a project developer with skin in the game.

We began by executing ground-mounted and rooftop solar EPC projects for manufacturers, logistic companies, and commercial clients. As our technical expertise grew, so did our ambition. We began developing our own solar and wind power projects as an Independent Power Producer — creating new avenues for C&I clients to access clean, affordable electricity through open access, captive, and PPA models.

Today, Stake Energy operates across India with a portfolio spanning ground-mounted utility projects, industrial rooftop installations, and IPP-developed wind and solar assets supplying power directly to high-consumption industries at below-grid tariffs.

Our Journey

From EPC Roots to IPP Leadership

Stake Energy's growth reflects the rapid maturation of India's renewable energy sector — from early rooftop installations to developing and owning multi-megawatt solar and wind projects under open access and PPA structures.

Year 1 – Foundation

EPC Operations Launched

Stake Energy is established with a core team of solar engineers and project managers. First EPC contracts executed — rooftop solar for industrial clients in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Year 2–3 – Growth

Ground-Mounted EPC Capability

Expanded into ground-mounted solar EPC, completing our first multi-MW project for an industrial conglomerate. Established full in-house structural design and civil engineering teams.

Year 4–5 – Expansion

Pan-India Project Presence

Delivered EPC projects across Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Grew client base to include pharmaceutical, textile, and FMCG sectors.

Year 5–6 – IPP Launch

Became an Independent Power Producer

Launched our IPP vertical — developing, funding, and commissioning our own solar projects for open access supply and captive power to C&I clients. First PPA signed with a steel manufacturer.

Year 7+ – Present

Wind & Solar IPP Portfolio Scaling

Actively developing a pipeline of solar and wind IPP projects across India. Executing group captive structures, long-term PPAs, and expanding O&M footprint for a growing fleet of assets.
